Creating a Joyful Place

Les and Sweetie offer one to three hour programs on how to create a joyful place called home. As a blended family for over eight years, Les and Sweetie know the difficulties and importance of creating peace at home and with their children’s extended families and their own blended family. Les and Sweetie use humor and an energetic delivery style to share skills of creating strong family units that will leave your audience thoughtfully considering new perspectives and a little sore from laughing so hard!

Today’s Family

Facilitating new perspectives for schools, organizations, and churches of the needs and stresses for today’s blended and step families.  Our goal is to help organizations become aware of the legal, communications needs and how to foster a spirit of peace among step and blended families. There are many methods of inclusion that need to be considered from scheduling to legal considerations of how to handle minors.  Step and Blended families account for over sixty percent of our population today, let’s work with ways to facilitate their participation in family strengthening activities!

Growing in to Lovely

Sweetie Berry is a bride, mom, step mom, and ex-wife.  The third child in a family of achievers, she finally did something so well she was first in her family to accomplish it:  divorce, and she did it so well the first time she managed to do it twice. Sweetie humorously shares the walk as she chooses to leave the wicked stepmother image behind and help others to realize that the children before them need their love and acceptance regardless of who birthed them. Her own four children have given her a run for her money and the best hands on education a girl could ask for. Sweetie’s Growing into Lovely is a workshop for those who are step moms and those who know them, work with them, and lead them in worship or at work!  Her humorous method of sharing will leave you laughing in your seats and your hearts warm.

Becoming God’s Girl

A kickoff overnight workshop or day long event for Moms, Stepmoms , Guardians and daughters is available for this fun, sassy, exploration into who God says we are.  Becoming God’s Girl is an overnight event to help tween and teen girls learn their identity in Christ. The workshop is a kick off to a six weeks long add-on program for local churches, camps, and afterschool clubs.  A year long weekly curriculum for afterschool programs is in process for production Summer 2010.  This fun filled overnight includes worship opportunities, break out discussions, and loads of multi-generational girlfriend fun!
